The biggest decision to make when planning an elopement in Australia is…location, location, location.

We are so incredibly lucky here in Australia to live in such a big, beautiful place filled with so many readily accessible places to elope.

But with so much choice, it can become overwhelming to choose a place that’s perfect for you and your partner.

You may choose somewhere that’s meaningful to you both, or you may plan the location around the activities and vibe you’ve got in mind for the day.

Whichever way you plan it, there’s no denying that making a decision (or even knowing what your options are) can be tricky!

But this is what I’m here for!

In this post I’ve compiled a biiiiiiig (clickable) list of my FAVOURITE places to elope within each state of Australia.

You can use this list to guide your research, to gather inspiration or even just to start getting your brain ticking over as you start the planning process.

However you choose to use it – just know that I am only a message away if you want to chat further about your options.

Australian Elopement Locations

I have a range of knowledge about selecting the right location, and last year I completed the Leave No Trace course for wedding and elopement photographers. It opened my eyes to the ethics and practices that should be followed when eloping at these locations, to make sure we can continue to enjoy and protect the incredible places we have here in our own backyard for years and years to come.

Being outdoors and in nature is something that like so many people I love to do, and I’m so grateful that as an elopement planner and photographer I can guide couples to these stunning places, but also make sure we’re doing it the right way!
